Celebrating 50 years of Calligraphy and Lettering Art
In honour of our 50th Anniversary, a beautiful logo has been created by Christiane Lenz, with support from Valerie Elliott & Stephan Jacob.
This is an incredible opportunity to promote our society, calligraphy and lettering art, sharing with others the beauty and versatility of hand lettering!
Come and join us for a series of upcoming and planned events for this celebration.
Here is what’s happening / being planned:
Feb. 7 – Lettering Celebration at Opus Victoria, a pop-up public event, where the public can try their hands at lettering and learn more about Fairbank Calligraphy Society.
We spent a full day at Opus Victoria, where the public signed up for half hour hands-on session to try their hands in lettering art. Opus generously donated some supplies and give aways. Volunteers and public participants all had a great time at this event.

- July – Exhibits at the Sidney Museum
- Sept. 5-7 – Public pop-up and exhibits at the annual Saanich Fair
- Sept.-Nov. – Exhibits at Bruce Hutchinson Library, Victoria
